One of Japan's three most celebrated gardens. Beautiful in every season
Kenroku Garden is one of Japan's three most celebrated gardens located in Kanazawa. This strolling garden was meticulously created over many years by the Maeda clan, rulers of the Kaga Domain.
The snow-laden rope supports, or 'yukitsuri,' are Kenroku Garden's signature feature. The cone-shaped ropes that protect tree branches from winter snow are strikingly artistic.
