Cruise through a gorge carved by the Yoshino River
Ōboke Gorge is a spectacular canyon carved over approximately 200 million years by the raging currents of the Yoshino River and is designated as a National Natural Monument.
During a round-trip cruise through the gorge lasting about 30 minutes, you can see the dramatic rock formations and steep cliffs towering on both banks up close.

A primitive suspension bridge woven from Shirakuchi vines in a hidden gorge
Iya's Kazura Bridge is a primitive suspension bridge made of Shirakuchi vines located in Miyoshi City.
Spanning 45 meters in length and 2 meters in width, the bridge stands 14 meters above the water and is designated as a National Important Tangible Folk Cultural Property.
The bridge is rebuilt once every three years using approximately 5 tons of vines, constructed using traditional methods.

The Naruto Whirlpool, which occurs in the Naruto Strait, is one of the world's largest whirlpools, reaching a maximum diameter of approximately 20 meters.
The Onaruto Bridge's pedestrian walkway, "Uzunomichi," offers a thrilling vantage point where you can look straight down at the whirlpools below through a glass floor about 45 meters above sea level.
