Hyogo Active Adventure

Kinosaki Onsen is a hot spring destination in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture, with a history spanning 1,300 years. Takeda Castle Ruins is a mountain castle site located in Asago City. Floating above the sea of clouds from autumn through winter, it's called 'Japan's Machu Picchu.' Perched at 353 meters above sea level, this entirely stone-walled castle ruin is remarkably well-preserved and stunning in scale.

For the best sea of clouds views, head to Riunkyō. When conditions align perfectly, you can witness the magical sight of the castle ruins floating above the clouds. Your best chances are early mornings between September and November on days with large temperature swings from the previous day and calm winds.

Englandの丘 is an agricultural park on Awaji Island, famous for the opportunity to see koalas. Watching koalas leisurely munching eucalyptus leaves is pure healing.

The park is home to various animals including sheep and rabbits, and offers animal feeding experiences as well as hands-on activities like bread making and butter making.

Mount Rokko rises 931 meters behind Kobe city, and the view from its peak is renowned as the "10 million dollar night view."
