Odawara

Odawara City in western Kanagawa Prefecture is a historic castle town centered around Odawara Castle, known as a famous fortress from the Sengoku period. The local specialty Odawara kamaboko has been beloved as a traditional delicacy since the Edo period. The city serves as a gateway to Hakone, with the starting station of the Hakone Tozan Railway.
