Muroto

Muroto City is located in southeastern Kochi Prefecture and is famous for Cape Muroto, which juts out into the Pacific Ocean. The city features the globally recognized Muroto UNESCO Global Geopark with its geological heritage, along with Hotsumisakiji Temple from the 88-temple pilgrimage and historical sites related to Nakaoka Shintaro from the late Edo period.
