Miyazaki Prefecture is located in southeastern Kyushu, blessed with beautiful coastlines and a warm climate. The prefecture features attractive areas where nature and history harmonize, including the prefectural capital Miyazaki City, Nichinan City known for its scenic Nichinan Coast, Saito City which served as the stage for ancient Japanese chronicles, and Takachiho Town famous as the land of mythology.
