Nakijin

Nakijin Village in northern Okinawa is known for the historic Nakijin Castle Ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The annual cherry blossom festival from January to February attracts many visitors to see the beautiful Kanhizakura cherry blossoms blooming at the castle ruins. The picturesque Kouri Island surrounded by emerald green waters is also a popular tourist destination.
