Ogasawara

Ogasawara Village is located on islands in the Pacific Ocean about 1,000 kilometers south of central Tokyo, designated as a World Natural Heritage site in 2011. The Ogasawara Islands, centered around Chichijima and Hahajima, are home to many endemic species and offer whale watching experiences. Access is via the Ogasawara-maru ferry, approximately 24 hours from the mainland.
