Nishikatsura

A town in Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi Prefecture, with a population of about 4,000. Located in the Fuji Five Lakes region, it serves as a base for climbing Mount Mitsutoge at 1,785 meters elevation. The town has a long history of textile industry as a traditional local craft.
