A free park where you can experience the world of Moomin
Akebono Kodomo no Mori Park is located in Hanno City and is a park inspired by the world of Nordic fairy tales. Despite free admission, the park features enchanting spaces like a mushroom house and waterside cottage that feel as though you've stepped right out of a storybook.
Inside the mushroom-shaped building, curved lines create a whimsical space. With a fireplace and small windows letting in soft light, every detail is thoughtfully designed to delight visitors.
The lush grounds are perfect for leisurely walks, where you can unwind while listening to the gentle babbling of a stream. It's popular as a photo spot, especially during autumn when the scenery becomes a living painting.
It's a 20-minute walk from Moji Station, and there's parking available for convenient car access. Visiting alongside Moomin Valley Park is recommended. Best of all, it's free to enter, making it easy to drop by anytime.
