Moomin Valley Park is a theme park in Hanno City that recreates the world of Moomin. Surrounded by Nordic landscapes along the lakeside, you can immerse yourself in the magical world of Moomin.

A hybrid leisure park where a zoo and amusement park come together
Tobu Zoo is a leisure facility in Miyashiro that combines a zoo and amusement park. It features a zoo area where you can see approximately 120 species of animals, seamlessly integrated with an amusement park area where you can enjoy attractions like roller coasters.
The white tiger is the signature animal of Tobu Zoo. At the Fureai Animal Forest, you can interact with small animals. The park opens a pool in summer and hosts illumination events during winter.

The Railway Museum in Omiya Ward, Saitama City is a railway museum operated by JR East. It displays 36 actual train cars.
The driving simulator is hugely popular, offering the chance to experience operating the Shinkansen and conventional trains. The diorama is also remarkably detailed—Japan's largest-scale HO gauge railway model diorama is absolutely captivating.
From the rooftop, you can see actual Shinkansen trains running up close.

A free park where you can experience the world of Moomin
Akebono Kodomo no Mori Park is located in Hanno City and is a park inspired by the world of Nordic fairy tales. Despite free admission, the park features enchanting spaces like a mushroom house and waterside cottage that feel as though you've stepped right out of a storybook.

Inside the mushroom-shaped building, curved lines create a whimsical space. With a fireplace and small windows letting in soft light, every detail is thoughtfully designed to delight visitors.
The lush grounds are perfect for leisurely walks, where you can unwind while listening to the gentle babbling of a stream. It's popular as a photo spot, especially during autumn when the scenery becomes a living painting.

It's a 20-minute walk from Moji Station, and there's parking available for convenient car access. Visiting alongside Moomin Valley Park is recommended. Best of all, it's free to enter, making it easy to drop by anytime.
