The Railway Museum in Omiya Ward, Saitama City is a railway museum operated by JR East. It displays 36 actual train cars.
The driving simulator is hugely popular, offering the chance to experience operating the Shinkansen and conventional trains. The diorama is also remarkably detailed—Japan's largest-scale HO gauge railway model diorama is absolutely captivating.
From the rooftop, you can see actual Shinkansen trains running up close.
