MIHO MUSEUM is an art museum nestled in the mountains of Koga City, designed by I.M. Pei, known for the glass pyramid of the Louvre Museum. The architecture, inspired by Peach Blossom Spring, reveals itself beyond a tunnel and suspension bridge.
In spring, the cherry blossom tunnel is spectacular, and the journey from the entrance to the museum itself is a pleasure to experience.

The head temple of Tendai Buddhism. A UNESCO World Heritage site with 1,200 years of history
Enryaku-ji on Mount Hiei is the head temple of Tendai Buddhism founded by Saichō and is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The vast temple grounds, which encompass the entire mountain, are divided into three pagodas: the Eastern Pagoda, Western Pagoda, and Yokawa.
Konpon Chūdō is the principal hall of Enryaku-ji, where the "Eternal Lamp" has burned continuously for 1,200 years without ever being extinguished.
