Yame

Yame City in southern Fukuoka Prefecture is nationally renowned for its high-quality Yame tea. The city is also famous for traditional crafts such as Yame lanterns and Yame Japanese paper, with the historic Yame-Fukushima district preserving beautiful townscapes dating back to the Edo period.
