Sakaiminato

Sakaiminato City in Tottori Prefecture is a port town facing the Sea of Japan, nationally famous as the hometown of manga artist Shigeru Mizuki. Mizuki Shigeru Road features character statues from GeGeGe no Kitaro, and the Shigeru Mizuki Museum offers visitors an immersive experience of his works. The city is also known for its specialty red snow crab caught at Sakaiminato Port.
