Tendo

Tendo City in Yamagata Prefecture is nationally famous for shogi piece production. The annual Human Shogi event is held at Tendo Onsen hot spring resort, attracting many visitors. The city also features historic sites such as Maizuruzan and Wakamatsujji Temple.
