Kazuno

Kazuno City in northern Akita Prefecture is a historic town known for the Oyu Stone Circles, a Jomon period archaeological site. The annual Hanawa Bayashi festival in August is renowned as one of Japan's three great bayashi festivals, featuring spectacular floats and drumming that enliven the streets.
