Katsuura

Katsuura City in Chiba Prefecture is a coastal town located in the southeastern part of the Boso Peninsula. The Katsuura Morning Market, with over 400 years of history, is known as one of Japan's three major morning markets featuring local seafood and agricultural products. The city is also famous for Katsuura Tantanmen noodles with characteristic soy sauce-based chili oil, and beautiful coastlines including Okitsu Beach and Ubara Coast.
