Onjuku Town in Chiba Prefecture is a coastal town facing the Pacific Ocean, known as the birthplace of the children's song "Tsuki no Sabaku" (Desert Moon). Onjuku Beach features the Desert Moon Memorial Museum and is the historic landing site of Spanish Don Rodrigo.
