Awaji

Awaji City, located in the northern part of Awaji Island, serves as the gateway to Shikoku via the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. The Akashi Kaikyo National Government Park offers seasonal flowers throughout the year, and Izanagi Shrine, one of Japan's oldest shrines, is located here. The city is also famous for incense production, accounting for about 70% of Japan's national share.
