Sayo

Located in western Hyogo Prefecture, Sayo Town is known for the Nishi-Harima Astronomical Observatory with one of the largest telescopes in western Japan. The town features beautiful sunflower fields in summer and the historic townscape of Hirafuku, a former post town.
