Yamada

Yamada Town in Iwate Prefecture faces the Sanriku coast and is known for its beautiful Yamada Bay. The area is famous for oyster farming, offering rich seafood delicacies. The town was severely damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake but continues its recovery efforts.
