Kotohira

Kotohira Town in Kagawa Prefecture is a gateway town that prospers around the nationally famous Kotohira Shrine (Konpira-san). The historic Kanamaru-za theater from the Edo period still hosts kabuki performances, and many visitors walk along the approach to the shrine.
