Minamikyushu

Minamikyushu City in Kagoshima Prefecture is known for the Chiran Peace Museum for Kamikaze Pilots, which preserves the history of the Special Attack Forces from the end of World War II. The city is also famous for the Chiran Samurai Gardens, which retain the atmosphere of Edo period samurai residences, and Chiran tea, renowned for its exceptional quality.
