Nishinoomote

Located on Tanegashima Island in Kagoshima Prefecture, Nishinoomote is historically significant as the place where firearms were first introduced to Japan in 1543. The city is now famous for the Tanegashima Space Center and its beautiful coastlines that are popular surfing destinations.
