The local specialty, Tsu gyoza, features a unique small-sized, deep-fried style that has been beloved by locals for generations. The city is home to Takada Honzan Senjuji Temple, the head temple of the Jodo Shinshu Takada sect, and hosts the annual Tsu Festival, showcasing its rich history and cultural heritage.
