Nagatoro Town is located in northern Saitama Prefecture and is famous for the Nagatoro Gorge, designated as a National Natural Monument. The spectacular rock formations called Iwadatami, created by the clear Arakawa River and unique rocks, can be enjoyed through Nagatoro river boat rides. Hodosan Shrine is also a popular destination for many visitors.
