Nanto

Nanto City is located in southwestern Toyama Prefecture and is famous for the Gokayama Gassho-zukuri Villages, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Ainokura and Suganuma settlements showcase traditional thatched-roof farmhouses that preserve Japan's historic mountain village landscapes.
