Tateyama Town serves as the gateway to the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, featuring the majestic Mount Tateyama at 3,015m and Shomyo Falls, Japan's highest waterfall. The famous Yuki-no-Otani (Snow Wall) in spring creates spectacular snow corridors up to 20 meters high.
