Oyabe

Oyabe City in western Toyama Prefecture is a historic town home to Kurikara Pass, famous as a battlefield of the Genpei War. The Oyabe River flows through the city, and the area is beloved by history enthusiasts as the ancient battlefield where Minamoto no Yoshinaka defeated the Taira forces.
