Tada Shrine, dedicated to Minamoto no Tsunemoto, the founder of the Seiwa Genji clan, is recognized as the foremost of the three Genji shrines. Established in Tada during the Heian period, this shrine has been revered by numerous renowned warriors throughout history, including Minamoto no Yorimitsu and Minamoto no Yorimasa. Stone monuments from the Kamakura period remain within the shrine grounds, testament to the layered history of this place so deeply connected to the Genji clan.
