Yuzu Mizunikoe features terraced fields divided by stone walls stretching across steep mountain slopes. This landscape has been created using traditional farming methods passed down since the Edo period, and has been selected as one of Japan's best village landscapes.
The terraces consist of 389 steps with an elevation difference of approximately 200 meters, and the stone walls alone stretch a total of 4 kilometers, showcasing the impressive scale of this site.
