Takasaki

Takasaki City is known as a core city in Gunma Prefecture and the birthplace of the famous Takasaki Daruma dolls, considered lucky charms throughout Japan. The city features the 41.8-meter-tall Takasaki Kannon statue and serves as the home base of the Gunma Symphony Orchestra.
