Yawata

Yawata City in Kyoto Prefecture is a historic city known for Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine. This shrine, located atop Mount Otokoyama, is revered as one of Japan's three major Hachiman shrines. The shrine grounds feature an Edison Memorial commemorating the connection between the famous inventor Thomas Edison and Yawata's bamboo.
