Ojiya

Ojiya City in Niigata Prefecture is a historic town renowned for its traditional textile craft, Ojiya Chijimi. Known as the birthplace of Nishikigoi (ornamental carp), the city hosts the annual Ojiya Balloon Festival where colorful hot air balloons fill the sky.
