Hachinohe
Hachinohe City is located in southeastern Aomori Prefecture, flourishing as a port town facing the Pacific Ocean. The Hachinohe Sansha Taisai festival, held annually from late July to early August, is one of Tohoku's premier festivals known for its spectacular floats. The city offers rich natural attractions including Kabushima Island, famous for its black-tailed gull breeding grounds, and the beautiful Tanesashi Coast.
