Owani

A town in southern Aomori Prefecture known for its hot springs and skiing. Owani Onsen has long been cherished as a therapeutic hot spring resort, while Owani Ski Resort offers winter sports activities. The local specialty Owani moyashi (bean sprouts) is cultivated using geothermal heat from the hot springs.
