Mino

Mino City in Gifu Prefecture is renowned for its 1,300-year history of Mino washi paper production. The historic townscape featuring traditional merchant houses with udatsu fire walls is designated as an Important Preservation District, and the famous Mino Festival with its flower floats is held annually in April.
