Tarui

Tarui Town in Gifu Prefecture is a historic town that flourished as a post station on the Nakasendo route. It is home to Nangu Taisha, the head shrine of all Kanayamahiko shrines in Japan, and preserves the ruins of warrior Takenaka Hanbei's residence.
