Ogaki

Ogaki City in western Gifu Prefecture is known as a city of water. Home to historic Ogaki Castle, which played a role in the Battle of Sekigahara, and the endpoint of Matsuo Basho's famous journey "Oku no Hosomichi." The city is blessed with abundant groundwater and features numerous natural artesian wells throughout the area.
