Itsuki

A mountainous village in Kuma District, Kumamoto Prefecture, famous as the birthplace of "Itsuki no Komoriuta," one of Japan's three great lullabies. The village features the Itsuki Dam construction site and the secluded Gokasho region, rich in nature and cultural heritage.
