Minami-Aso Village is located in the southern part of the Aso Caldera and is renowned for its abundant spring water sources, including the famous Shirakawa Spring. The 400-year-old Isshingyo Cherry Tree creates a spectacular display in spring, while the scenic Minami-Aso Railway offers visitors beautiful views of the natural landscape.
