Takatori

Takatori Town in Nara Prefecture is known for its historic mountain castle, featuring the ruins of Takatori Castle, one of Japan's three great mountain castles. The town also boasts Tsubosaka Temple, the 6th temple of the Saigoku 33 Kannon Pilgrimage, and the Takatori Tosa Kaido Preservation District with its traditional Edo-period streetscape.
