Yamatokōriyama

A historic castle town in northern Nara Prefecture, famous for the ruins of Koriyama Castle built from the Warring States period through the Edo period. The city is also renowned as one of Japan's leading goldfish breeding areas, where traditional goldfish cultivation continues to this day.
