Yoshino

Yoshino Town in Nara Prefecture is famous for Mount Yoshino, one of Japan's most renowned cherry blossom viewing spots. About 30,000 cherry trees cover the entire mountain, attracting many visitors in spring. Historic temples and shrines such as Kinpusen-ji Temple, Yoshimizu Shrine, and Nyoirin-ji Temple are scattered throughout the area.
