Bizen

Bizen City is located in southeastern Okayama Prefecture and is nationally famous as the birthplace of Bizen pottery, which has a thousand-year history. The city is home to Shizutani School, the world's oldest surviving school for commoners built during the Edo period, and the Hinase area is known for 'Kakioko,' okonomiyaki made with oysters.
