Kakegawa

Kakegawa City in western Shizuoka Prefecture is a historic town known for Kakegawa Castle with its beautifully reconstructed castle keep. The city is also famous as a producer of highly acclaimed Kakegawa tea, with scenic tea plantations spread throughout the area.
