Kawazu

Located in the southeastern part of the Izu Peninsula, Kawazu Town is nationally famous as the birthplace of the early-blooming Kawazu cherry blossoms. Approximately 8,000 Kawazu cherry trees bloom from February to March each year, attracting many visitors. The town also features natural attractions such as the Kawazu Seven Waterfalls and Kawazu Hot Springs.
