Numazu

Numazu City is a port town located in eastern Shizuoka Prefecture, facing Suruga Bay. Numazu Port features a deep-sea fish aquarium where visitors can observe deep-sea creatures from Suruga Bay. The local specialty himono (dried fish) can be enjoyed around the port area, and Senbonmatsubara is beloved as a scenic coastal area with beautiful pine groves.
