At 1,248 meters above sea level, Takamiyama is known as the signature peak of Higashiyoshino Village in Nara Prefecture.
During winter, rime ice forms near the summit, creating a stunning landscape where trees are blanketed in white. Its elegant triangular silhouette has earned it the nickname "Kansai's Matterhorn," making it beloved among climbers.
